About the event
From 4 May 2026 to 11 May 2026 there will be a MiniDebconf in Hamburg. The venue is dock europe / fux in Altona.
- 7 days of hacking together on Debian & FLOSS.
- wifi inside and outside the venue.
- lunch and dinner provided on site by Cantina.
- daily stand up meetings after lunch during the weekdays
- two hacklabs during the weekdays: a noisy and a (more) silent one.
- Party on Wednesday in slot
- Cheese and wine on Thursday
- Evening trip on Friday
- DebConf on Sa/Su
- one irc channel: #debconf-hamburg on irc.debian.org hosted by oftc
- the event is aimed at around 77 people: around 30 can stay stay at dock europe (full) and there’s hacking space of 143m², so eventually it gets crowded.

Registration, accommodation and financial support
- Registration is mandatory. While we’re already over capacity for beds on site, registration is still open for people that don’t need that.
- Please also subscribe to the event mailinglist when registering for the event.
- We aim for free accommodation (= beds at the venue) for Debian & FLOSS contributors for those that need the support.

Daytrip
The daytrip will take place on Friday, the 8th of May, starting with a boat tour through the (real) harbour of Hamburg at 19:00 local time and visiting the Miniaturwunderland after that, probably until close to Midnight, though of course you can leave earlier.
This is the event url and it costs 36€. Alternatively you can also skip the boat tour and just visit the Miniaturwunderland for 23€.

Payment can and needs to be done during the MiniDebConf in Hamburg and preferably cash payment to h01ger. Else money transfer also works. Boat tickets are first come first serve.
