Well, evening trip to Miniaturwunderland and Hafengeburtstag boat tour
Boat trip through the harbor and after that Miniatur Wunderland
You will receive two QR code tickets, one for the boat, one for the museum, so you can go there on your own or by creating a team and go there together.
WARNING: remember its Hamburger Hafengeburtstag (hamburg port’s birthday) so there will literally be 100000 people where we want to go. So expect to take two or three times as much time. Really.
On normal days I would calculate less then an hour to get there from Fux using public transport and a tiny bit more by just walking, this Friday I’m rather assuming this to take 2-3h by either means.
The boats leave in about 100m distance to the museum and our time slots are from 19:00 to 19:30, so probably be there around 18:45. The tickets for the museum allow us to enter from 19:00 to 24:00.
The boats leave from Anleger Hamburg Port Authority Große Pötte & Kleine Züge on the corner of the two streets Brook and Pickhuben which is in the HafenCity. IOW: geo:53.5442448880,9.9925806979 or 9.99261°E, 53.54420°N.
U-Baumwall is a good metro station to take the subway too.
It’s probably a good idea to leave Fux around 16:30 and then have some food, probably at Hafengeburtstag, on the way to the boat tour.
ToDO/options:
- meet at Kubus (= main entrance at Cantina) at 16:30 to via S-Bahn to Sternschanze and from there take the subway to Baumwall and walk from there.
- define when + where to meet at Fux to go there together by bike? volunteer welcome for leading this group.
- define when + where to meet at Fux to go there together the entire way walking. volunteer welcome for leading this group.
