ELBE - A Debian rootfilesystem builder

ELBE is a free root filesystem builder for Debian and its derivatives. In this talk I will show how to build a Debian system from scratch, to be used both on bare-metal and as a container. Besides building the system itself I will show how to customize the build process from modifying simple files to building, managing and installing custom packages.

An overview about some features targeted at commercial, industrial and embedded usecases, like license compliance, rebuildability and automated updates will also be given.
